Soft Witness found its balance on the ground. Unhurried has let go of the ground entirely.
At 20 cm it is not the tallest of the Interlocutors, but height was never the point. Unhurried floats — there is simply no other word for it. The same multifaceted spirit as its kin, the same openness, but lifted, aerated, as if gravity made a suggestion and Unhurried politely declined.
It is featherlight in every sense. In its physical presence, in the way it sits in a room, in the mood it carries. Nothing weighs on it. Nothing rushes it.
It arrives in its own time, and stays exactly as long as it pleases.
Soft Witness vond zijn evenwicht op de grond. Unhurried heeft de grond volledig losgelaten.
Op 20 cm is het niet de langste van de Interlocutors, maar hoogte was nooit het punt. Unhurried zweeft — er is simpelweg geen ander woord voor. Dezelfde veelzijdige geest als zijn verwanten, dezelfde openheid, maar opgetild, gelucht, alsof de zwaartekracht een suggestie deed en Unhurried die vriendelijk naast zich neerlegde.
Het is vederlicht in elk opzicht. In zijn fysieke aanwezigheid, in de manier waarop het in een kamer staat, in de stemming die het met zich meedraagt. Niets weegt op hem. Niets haast hem.
Het komt op zijn eigen tijd, en blijft precies zo lang als het zelf wil.
