This is where it all began.
Dwelling is the original — the first conversation, the one that made the series possible. It is the elder of the group, and it carries that quietly. The surface tells time the way rust does: not as decay, but as evidence. As proof of a life engaged with the world, marked by it, richer for it.
The transparency that runs through the Interlocutor series finds its source here. Dwelling does not guard itself. It opens, lets the light through, lets you through. Wisdom tends to work that way — the more of it you have, the less you feel the need to conceal anything.
To live with Dwelling is to live with something that has already seen a great deal, and remains, despite all of it, entirely present.
Hier begon het allemaal.
Dwelling is het origineel — het eerste gesprek, het werk dat de serie mogelijk maakte. Het is de oudste van de groep, en dat draagt het stil met zich mee. Het oppervlak vertelt de tijd zoals roest dat doet: niet als verval, maar als bewijs. Als bewijs van een leven dat zich met de wereld heeft ingelaten, erdoor getekend, er rijker door geworden.
De transparantie die door de Interlocutor-serie loopt vindt hier zijn oorsprong. Dwelling bewaakt zichzelf niet. Het opent zich, laat het licht door, laat jou door. Wijsheid werkt nu eenmaal zo — hoe meer je ervan hebt, hoe minder je de behoefte voelt om iets te verbergen.
